Taking natural sodium bentonite as material, bentonite particles are fixed between two layers of geotextile by special process to make bentonite waterproof blanket, which not only has all the characteristics of geotechnical materials, but also has excellent waterproof (seepage) performance.

 Installation Instructions

2 Before laying the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL), there should be corresponding qualified acceptance documents for the preliminary project.
3 Before cutting the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL), the relevant dimensions should be accurately measured, and then cut according to the actual terrain, and numbered piece by piece. The relevant information should be recorded on a special form. Laying bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL)
It must be dry and tidy, and no oil stains, splashed chemicals or chemical spots that damage the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) should be allowed on the surface.

Three, fixed

2 In the deformed areas at the corners, the length of the joints should be as short as possible. At the toe of the slope or the place where the stress is concentrated, the horizontal joint distance must be greater than 1.5 meters. Except for special requirements, there should be no horizontal angle within 1.5 meters from the top of the slope or the stress concentration area on a slope with a slope greater than 1:6 Small 45°C seams.

Four, connection
1 The connection of bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) can be divided into natural overlap lap and anchor rod fixed lap according to the terrain and use function.
2 The bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) cannot be connected in rain or snow. It is necessary to confirm that all the bentonite cushions (GCL) used are in a dry state before connecting.
3 When connecting on the bottom of the foundation, the overlapping width of the two pieces of bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is 15cm-20cm.
4 On the slope, the overlapping width of two pieces of bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is about not less than 30cm.
5 Bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) should be strengthened with bentonite particles or bentonite mortar at the overlapping part, the width is 200mm, the dosage: the bentonite powder is 0.6kg/m, and the bentonite mortar is evenly smeared 5mm thick.
6 There should be no oil stains, sundries, etc. at the joints. If there are sundries, they must be cleaned up during lap inspection.

8 Every piece of bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) must be connected on the day of laying.
9 On the slope, if the length of the damaged part exceeds 10% of the length of the coil, the roll of bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) should be removed and replaced with another roll.
10 On the substrate, if the tear length of the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) exceeds 10% of the width of the coil, the damaged part should be cut off and repaired with the same material.
11 Any objects between the materials of the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) that may pierce the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) should be removed, marked and repaired, and the laying surface should be kept free of debris that damages the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) .

Five, detection and repair

4 The contents of acceptance are:
1. Check the cleanliness, leveling and compaction of the base surface.
2. Check whether the laid bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) has early hydration, whether the waterproof layer is damaged, and whether the damaged part has compensation treatment.
3. Sampling check the lap width of the lap joint. Overlap more than 30cm.
4. The anchoring condition of the anchoring part.
5. Check that the bentonite particles (or powder) at the overlapped part have a reinforcement width of more than 30 cm, and the amount of bentonite
